After out running a nasty thunder storm (until the last mile), our maiden voyage with the rig was a success and we made it to our first destination – Deep Creek MD. Had a wonderful hike at Swallow Falls, went on a determined search for an elusive morel that M saw earlier (an animal beat us to it), got some valuable lessons on hitching up and kids played tons. Thanks to M and B for the hospitality. Sad to leave the old line state but looking forward to logging some miles west.
